MEXC vs Binance

MEXC and Binance sit at opposite ends of the cost-versus-depth trade-off. MEXC charges a 0% spot maker fee and only 0.05% taker, against Binance's flat 0.10% on both sides, so on spot MEXC is structurally cheaper for anyone who trades often. MEXC also lists around 2,800 coins to Binance's roughly 430, and it tends to list new and small-cap tokens earlier, which is why Vietnamese traders hunting fresh launches keep an account there. On futures the gap widens further: MEXC offers up to 500x leverage with a 0% maker and 0.02% taker, versus Binance's 125x cap and 0.02%/0.05% schedule. What Binance gives back is depth and trust. Its order books on majors are far deeper, so large orders fill with less slippage, and its VND P2P market is the busiest in Vietnam, which matters because that is your fiat entry point. Binance also carries a longer, more scrutinised operating record. Both are foreign platforms named in Vietnam's draft restrictions, which were not in force as of mid-2026.

Risk warning: cryptocurrency trading is highly volatile and may not be suitable for all investors. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Which is better for Vietnamese traders?

These two work best together rather than as either-or. Binance should anchor most Vietnamese setups: it is where VND enters and exits the market, and its liquidity protects you on size — a 0% fee means little if slippage on a thin book costs you more than the fee you saved. MEXC earns its place as the second account: when you want a token that is not on Binance yet, or you are churning spot trades where the 0% maker fee genuinely adds up, MEXC is the cheaper venue. The caution with MEXC is liquidity on long-tail pairs, which can be thin, so keep large or time-sensitive orders on the deeper Binance book.

MEXC

Choose this one if you trade spot often and want the 0% maker fee, you chase new or low-cap altcoins and need the widest listing (~2,800 coins), or you want up to 500x leverage on perpetuals at near-zero futures fees.

Binance

Choose this one if you fund from vnd and need the deepest p2p book, you trade size on major pairs where order-book depth limits slippage, or you want a longer track record and one account for spot, futures and earn.
