Quick answer: the best crypto exchanges in Vietnam 2026

Binance is the most-used exchange for Vietnamese traders, offering the deepest VND P2P market (bank transfer, MoMo, ZaloPay) and no P2P fees. OKX follows with the lowest spot maker fee at 0.08% and a built-in Web3 wallet. Bybit is the leading choice for derivatives trading, and MEXC offers 0% spot maker fees with the largest altcoin selection. All four are large, well-established global exchanges that Vietnamese traders use freely today. A Ministry of Finance proposal to restrict foreign platforms exists but is only proposed, not in force, with no enforcement date.

  • Binance is the most-used crypto exchange in Vietnam and operates the deepest VND P2P market, supporting bank transfer, MoMo, and ZaloPay with no P2P fees.
  • Crypto is legal to own and trade as property in Vietnam since 1 January 2026. Using it as a means of payment is still off-limits, but trading itself is fully legal, and the major global exchanges are used freely across Vietnam today. A Ministry of Finance proposal to restrict unlicensed foreign platforms is only proposed, not in force, with no enforcement date.
  • The only confirmed in-force crypto tax in Vietnam is a Personal Income Tax of 0.1% on the gross transfer value of each transaction, payable regardless of profit or loss.
  • This is the case for sticking with established global exchanges. No domestic platform holds a Vietnamese license yet, and the collapse of local exchange ONUS — whose founder and associates were arrested for alleged fraud in March 2026 — is exactly why Vietnamese traders favour large, proven names like Binance, OKX, and Bybit, which have operated globally for years.
